Canine Influenza Vaccines at UrbanVet!

If your dog is social, and meets other dogs at the groomers, dog parks, or day care, call UrbanVet to see if your dog should be vaccinated for Canine Influenza H3N2. Call us at (206)352-6900 with any questions, or to set up an appointment to get your dog vacinated!

We now offer a 3-in-1 option for monthy parasite prevention!

Did you know the AVMA recommends a monthly heartworm preventative? Heartworm disease is transmitted from dog to dog through mosquitoes. It affects thousands of dogs across the USA and is a threat to all dogs, even in the Puget Sound. Heartworm disease is preventable however and we offer a broad spectrum, easy to administer, once monthly chewable tablet. Trifexis makes preventing heartworm as easy as giving a treat. It not only prevents heartworm disease but also protects your dog from intestinal parasites (hookworms, roundworms, whipworms) and fleas for a full 30 days.

An annual heartworm test is recommended for all dogs and we offer a quick and convenient test in clinic, while you wait. The test also looks for 3 tick diseases that could potentially compromise your dog’s health.

Environmental note: Trifexis is made with Spinosad. Spinosad is a naturally occurring insect control product that was awarded the Green Chemistry award from Dow Chemicals and is organic. Spinosad tauts a favorable environmental profile as well!

What People Are Saying About UrbanVet…

I have been taking my dog to Urban Vet for almost three years. I love the veterinarians and the vet techs have all been very nice. I’ve always had good experiences and never felt like they tried to convince me to get more care than my dog needed.
